Stanislav Böhm (TU Ostrava)

The goal of the talk is to introduce a tool for simplifying development of applications in the area of scientific and engineering computations for distributed memory systems. Our goal is to provide a rapid prototyping environment, automatically generate efficient programs and verify their performance, scalability, and correctness. A unifying element in the approach is a visual programming language inspired by Colored Petri Nets. The second part of the talk will provide an overview about verification tools in the area of Message Passing Interface (MPI). MPI is a standard programming interface in today's supercomputers and even there are lots of supporting tools for MPI, there are only few verification tools.
